Who We Are
We are a group of 32 active and agile Athelites. Our role is to keep the school up-to-date with sporting achievements and create new sporting initiaties.
What We Do
We meet once a week to plan different sporting events and occasions, teamed with making new activities for PE lessons. We discuss historical sporting events and great sporting moments and the importance of physical education at our school to create future sports stars and a healthy population. As Athelites we are striving to be fitter and stronger and we collaborate with each other to encourage this idea in the rest of the school.
Make a Difference
- We are Sports Day Leaders, helping with marshalling and equipment.
- We run fundrasiers such as the Goalathon and Bike Challenge.
- We support other pupil groups with health and lifestyle activities.
- We develop new circuit training routines and lead activities in PE lessons to improve fitness, technique and skill and suggest the strategies to be used in competition.
- We motivate and set a good example by performing reliably under pressure and encouraging our team-mates.
I wanted to be an athlete because being one is a lot of fun and everything we plan and do is really good fun.
I wanted to be an Athlete because I enjoy it and it is really fun and I am a huge fan of sport and I wanted to raise money for the school equipment because this school is the best. We like helping Miss Brown because she is the best P.E teacher and we want this school to be the best school in the country.
I wanted to be an Athlete because I go outside and I do cheerleading and gymnastics plus I love running around and playing games like netball and basketball because my siblings play a lot of it! I want to make the school a better place by making the field have a lot more equipment. Also I want people who are not yet in our school to have the best playtimes and love our school because we have a lot of fun things to do in the field!
I would like to represent the school by being an Athlete so that I can raise money for the field to make more equipment and help in sports events. I would also like to keep the school clean. The previous event was named goalathon. It is when you have a choice of scoring as many goals in football or as many baskets in basketball.
I want to be an athlete because I love sports and I want the school to have equipment for the field and the playground. I want to be an athlete because in the school there has to be fit people and so we all have less to fight about. So we can always have fun in P.E and enjoy ourselves.
I wanted to be an athlete because I like doing gymnastics and that is part of being an Athlete. I also do lots of athletic stuff like the long jump because I like jumping when I go out to play in the garden. And I like to run around a lot!!!
I want to be an athlete because I like ball games like football and dodgeball. I play football 4 days a week. I took part in cross country last year and I’m in the school football team. In the goalathon I got the highest in my year. My aim is to get people into sports.

I am very glad to be an athlete because I love sports. Also I enjoy encouraging people to participate in athletics. My dream is to help the school with fundraising for sports .As I have helped Churchfields School with Goalathon. I decided to become an athlete to help people enjoy sports. The main reason I want to be an athlete is to not only encourage people to do sportsbut also to have fun while exercising.
I wanted to join Athlete Because I wanted to make the school healthy and help raise money for the school and I like sport and games like football, basketball and dodgeball. I want us to raise money by having another mile run and your family and friends can sponsor you for charity.
I represent the school by being an athlete. My opinion of being an athlete is because I want to help and fundraise for equipment and make the field more enjoyable. Also I want more people to get involved in sport. My other opinion would be to create individual space for different sports such as: football, rugby, basketball, golf etc. So far we have raised money for the event Goalathon. Goalathon was an event where you try and score as many goals or as many baskets in basketball or football. Over the year we will try to do more events.
I wanted to be an Athlete because I love Athletics; I go outside and run around a lot. My brother is very athletic so I think I get it from him! I loved doing the Goal-a-thon and planning it and I hope we can get some more equipment. Also we have lots of people who enjoy sports and I hope we can encourage others to enjoy it!

I wanted to join Athletes because it looked very fun and interesting. Another reason I wanted to join Athletes is because I like helping fundraise and exciting events in the school and help with any problems that need solving or need help with any fund raising or support. You are worthy to be an athlete if you like sports and fun games. I like playing lots of games as cricket, football, table tennis and tennis. I also enjoy joining in with the fun P.E activities. I liked the Goalathon that the athletes hosted in P.E lessons. I would also like to help raise more money for the sports equipment.
I like being an athlete because I like sports. Football, tennis and ping-pong are my favourite sports. As an athlete, I want pupils in our school to play and take part in different sports. I like raising money for our school. All the money we raise will go to the field. In our school lots of pupils enjoy sports, such as, football, netball, hockey and many others. We can also buy new equipment for our field. We can have many more P.E lessons and better P.E. lessons. I want children to be healthy and active instead of lying on the sofa at home and playing video games they should play some sports like football, tennis or netball. We could buy new equipment to use in our P.E. lessons.
I want to be an Athlete because I want to raise more money for the school. I also want to raise money myself. Our group is to get more equipment for the school.
I want to be an athlete because I want to help the school field and have more playing things to play with and raise more money for the school. I also want to become really healthy and fit so I can also become super strong and then I can lift heavy items.

I want to get new equipment for sports and other activities by raising enough money for the school, which I have done already in Goalathon. I want to be a great help to the school and be a good fund raiser. This year’s goal for me is to get lots of money for the field and other things. I hope I can organise other fundraises for the future.
